Katy Reports... Love is real?

Katy Reports... Love is real?

Will you give up on love? Do you think love is a big waste of time? Do you think it works out?
Keep those questions in mind while you read. They will be an important part of the post. How many times have you heard people say that they have the perfect relationship? Do you believe them? Some of you will believe them. Those people who will believe in the perfect love at 16 lasts forever must be living in some sort of fantasy. Because normally, it doesn't work that way. If that's you, you're lucky. You must be surrounded with people who say love is perfect and people who promise love is never a waste of time. How many other people think that love is just a big waste of time because it never works out? Sometimes, that is the case. You are living in a world called reality. People find someone, but it just doesn't work out. That isn't always the case though. Love can be a ride. A good ride that takes you somewhere good. It can work out. It doesn't always fail. It's not always a waste of time. While you should live in the reality that not all loves work out, you should always keep in mind there is hope for you.

I won't give up on love. I don't think love is a waste of time. It sometimes works out, sometimes not. Luck.

Information

Katy is the mother of Maya. She works as a waitress for the Nighthawk Diner, while she attends numerous auditions, vying for her big break to fulfill her dreams of becoming an actress. Her ex-husband left her and her daughter when Maya was very young.

Personality

Katy exhibits a bright, chipper personality to mask her insecurities. She also tends to give others the impression her life is better than it really is, but Maya is well-aware of the reality. While Katy truly loves Maya, she does not spend much time with her, as Katy fears her very presence will drag Maya down to her own self-perceived lowly level, and wants better for Maya than "to come home with her little arms covered in pancake syrup". She also believes that the Matthews' are a far better influence on Maya than she will ever be. Although she is aware of her acting limitations, Katy still has hopes of being discovered.

Caution: Idiot Zone!

Today Maya and I went skating with the Matthews' and all of their family. I also took my mother. She took Ginger too. So, I was with Maya and Shawn. They skated with me for a while. Shawn and I were constantly going ahead of Maya. We were pretty good at skating. I basically pulled and whipped him around the rink. Then, Maya brought Gretchen, her friend that is good at skating. They raced me and Shawn around the rink. Shawn and I wanted to plan to get ahead of them, so he took me into a little penalty box to plan our escape. When they were on their way around, we zoomed ahead of them, cheating. We constantly kept going back and fourth with groups cheating. Then, Shawn told me to go faster (even though I am a super skating pro), when I didn't speed up, he tried to push me further up, but whipped me instead. He whipped me right to the ground. Not even a hit until my knees and elbows were smashed onto the ice. "Katy, are you okay?!" He asked panicked, getting me up. "Ouch, ouch, ouch!" I said in deep pain. He helped me over to the gates, where I sat on the bench. He stood beside me, when Maya and Gretchen came to see what happened. I told them Shawn whipped me down. "I'm sorry." Shawn said. "It's okay, it just hurts BADLY." I accepted. He sat beside me, and put his arm around me. I smiled, then got ready to stand up several seconds after. "Are you sure you can stand up?" He asked. "Yeah, let's see." I said, Shawn grabbing me and helping me up. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said and we continued our skating teams. Then, Maya, Gretchen and I went against Shawn, who I taught to skate very well. We all went around the rink attempting to beat Shawn. Then, Maya and I teamed up against Gretchen and Shawn. They wore Olympic sweaters, saying The Female Olympics and they were numbered. Shawn was number 2, and Gretchen was 1. So, Maya and I named our team the Waitress Winners, so we could wear the matching uniforms from the Nighthawk Diner. We thought it would be better if we could be the Altra Actresses, but we couldn't be. That couldn't work out. So as we always attempted to beat them, we always traded off who was ahead. When me and Maya were doing so good, there was a certain area that we had to slow down at because idiots were always falling down. Maya named it the Caution: Idiot Zone please slow down. She made an action that looked like a severe lunatic falling down, and I laughed so hard I wanted to pee. Then as we left, a little kid banged my finger inside of the door. I screamed, and felt like I broke it. I was bleeding instead, but it felt broken. I went and hugged my mom.  Let's just say, I bonded with both Shawn and Maya today. And I am more than happy about that...

The Blogger Start

Hello, my name is Katy Hart. I've heard that a lot of mothers blog, so I'm going to do that for you today, and every other day. I was born on August 11, 1984. So, I am a mother to my 14 year old daughter Maya Hart. Maya was born January 16, 2001. My husband (Maya's father) left when she was only 2 months old. He didn't leave because of her, he just one day left because of me. From then on, I wanted to have a good living. I decided to persue acting. Because I pretend to have a career, and I don't, I work at the Nighthawk Diner for money. I never really get to spend time with Maya, because I can't. I still love her. Sometimes, it's hard to show it. When Maya was 7 years old, often I had hard times at work and just dealing with life. I would always through stupid parties with all of my friends, scaring the poor kid. Sometimes, she was locked out of the house, and I never knew it. Ever since early January, I've been trying to persue being a better mother to my daughter, and just spending more time with her.

Maya met this guy, a friend of her best friend Riley's family. Maya met Shawn Hunter. Maya went to a family weekend with them and Shawn, and she had such a good time, she went on and on about it. I don't really like Shawn, he made a bad first impression on me, but now I think he is okay. I've gotten to know him more, and he's really great.

Today, Maya was planning to go with the Matthews' to go skating. I plan to go with her, just to be family with her again. I hope it will work out. I also hope this blog will work out for me. Thanks for reading my first blog post. There will be more!
